Yahuah's Word or Man's Doctrine?
We are told in The Books that we cannot be lukewarm, and that we need to come out of Babal, unless we commit her sins and we suffer her plagues.
YashaYahu52:11 Depart, depart, go out from there! Touch no unclean thing! Come out from it and be pure, you who carry the vessels of Yahuah. Chazun18:4 - I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of Babal, my people, so that you do not participate in her sins and suffer from any of her plagues.
We are told not to be unequally yoked with non-believers. Some will tell you that this is not possible, considering that we live in a sin filled world. HOWEVER, Yahuah does not lie. We can live our lives separated from the world, yet in it.
Throughout the entire 1st Covenant Books, Yahuah commands Yshr'al to not do as the heathen, to not partake in the idolatry of the lands they were to inhabit. Anyone who has truly studied The Books knows that they fell short of Yahuah's esteem over and over and over again.
I've been asked several times, if they couldn't do it, and His presence was here, how then will we be able to withstand? And over and over again, I say, "the solution is in Yahuah's Word."
We are told to "RESIST" the devil and he will flee. What does this mean? We must be like Yahusha when He was tempted. We must have the indwelling of Yahuah's Spirit and His Word, so that we are completed shielded in His Armor. It is with the complete armor of Yahuah that we are able to withstand. It is only by seeking Him with your entire heart, soul, mind, YOUR BEING, that you are able to be filled with the knowledge and wisdom and courage and belief that will lead you to His armor. According to His Word, His armor can enable us to withstand the fiery darts of the enemy.Ephesians 6:10-20
We have awesome weaponry at our disposal. However, so many of us get so caught up in our excuses and lies, that we disconnect ourselves from Yahuah. Once we have become disconnected, it is hard to reconnect. However, it's not impossible.
Yahuah said that He is near to those who call on Him in in TRUTH. Tahalym145:18
MAShLY 15:29Yahuah is far from the wicked but he hears the prayer of the righteous.
Yahuchanan 4:24Yahuah is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."
There you have it. Once we are true to ourselves and truly begin to seek, acknowledge and obey His truth, we can walk in direct obedience to Him and belief in Him, and He will answer when we pray. Yes He hears those who are crushed and broken hearted, but when we come to Him, we must do so honestly, humbly, and truthfully.
Still, some will read this and say, well I'm truthful. I worship, I pray, I praise, I do works, I have faith, I have this and I have that. Yet, their hearts are still far from Him. These are those that worship Him with their lips. What does this mean, you may wonder? What it means is that there are some that are so steeped in their Sunday worship traditions and their pastor's words and man's doctrines that they can't get out of their own way to seek Yahuah and find out just what the truth is. Then there are those, that learn the truth, yet they say that Yahuah (calling Him by that pagan title) knows their heart. And they are completely correct. He does know their heart. He knows that they give in to peer and family pressure, denying Him the esteem. He knows that they follow their own will and the will of man, so that they don't seem weird or out of place or disjointed from the rest of the world.
But we are told, if you love me, you will keep my commandments. Yahuchanan 14:15
So if we are His, and if we are truthful, and if we love Him and if we serve Him, we will keep His commandments.
Luke 10:27And he answered, “You shall love Yahuah your Almighty with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
Uyqra 26:1-46“You shall not make idols for yourselves or erect an image or pillar, and you shall not set up a figured stone in your land to bow down to it, for I am Yahuah your Almighty. You shall keep my Shabats and reverence my dwelling place: I am Yahuah. “If you walk in my statutes and observe my commandments and do them, then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. Your threshing shall last to the time of the grape harvest, and the grape harvest shall last to the time for sowing. And you shall eat your bread to the full and dwell in your land securely. ...
